Chapter II
The Scent That Awakens.
The Arabian Desert
After escaping the fall of Bradost, Tapputi vanished into the endless Arabian desert — with the sacred plant hidden in cloth… and its fragrance still alive upon her son's skin.
Not washed. Not faded. It lingered — evolving.
Under the burning sun, the fragrance changed. What was once soft and divine grew deeper… warmer… touched by sand, sweat, and struggle. The scent absorbed the desert itself.
It was no longer just healing. It was becoming something alive.
Days passed beneath a burning sun. Water ran dry. Wind erased their tracks. Her son — still fragile — began to fade again. Even legends can die in silence.
